Summary

This article describes how to create door unlock/lock event triggers in WAVE. 

Prerequisites

Set up the WAVE integration for OnCAFE, see OnCAFE: How to Integrate with WAVE.

Setting up the Event Trigger

To set up an event trigger:

1. Log in to WAVE.
    

2. In WAVE Client, right-click on your door's camera in the left-hand resource panel and select Camera Rules.
   
   
    

3. From this new window, select + Add on the upper right-hand side.
   
   
    

4. Enter the following details to the Event options in the bottom portion of the window.

- When: Generic Event Occurs

- Source contains: None (leave blank)

- Caption contains: Open or Close

- Description contains: <The full, exact name of the door as it appears in OnCAFE>

5. Select the desired behavior in the Action options.
    

   NOTE: You must explicitly set the camera (not selecting Also set on source 
   camera), as this event is technically coming from the cloud, not your camera.
