Summary

Once the Intelligent Controller has been switched to Cloud Mode and/or authenticated using the Cloud Connector application, it will appear in the OnCAFE platform under Controllers as an unclaimed controller. This article provides instructions for claiming the controller and assigning it to its appropriate location.

Claiming the Controller

To claim the controller:

1. Log in to OnCAFE.
   
   
2. From the navigation bar on the left, click the Devices > Controllers.
   
   
3. Review the list of available controllers.
   
   
   
   
4. Locate the serial number associated with the previously configured controller.
   

   NOTE: On the NHP, the serial number is located on the side of 
   the unit beneath the cover. On Azure, the serial number is 
   located on a sticker above the outputs.

5. In the Onboard Controllers section, assign a unique Name and select a Location (the physical site of deployment), then review the Serial number of the previously configured controller.
   
   
   
   
6. Click Add Controller to finalize the claiming process and add the controller to your active OnCAFE environment.
   
   
   
   Once claimed, the controller is fully visible in Devices > Controllers and available for configuration, monitoring, updating, and access control assignments.
