Applies to: OnCAFE administrators, Hanwha NHP and Azure Access Controllers, organizations managing time-based door unlock/lock schedules
Summary
Schedules control when doors are unlocked or locked automatically, based on the time and day. In OnCAFE, you can assign pre-configured schedules to specific doors to enable daily access automation without needing manual intervention. This article provides instructions on how to apply access schedules to doors using the OnCAFE platform.
Applying Schedules to Doors
To apply schedules to doors:
- Log in to OnCAFE.
- In the navigation bar on the left, click Device Management > Doors.
A list of all configured doors and their current statuses displays.
- Select the door name you want to modify.
This Edit Door page opens.
- From the navigation bar on the left, click Schedule.
- Click Set Schedule and select a schedule from the drop-down menu.
The schedule appears in the Door Schedules panel and displays on the calendar view.
- Toggle MFA Required to ON to enforce additional access requirements during the scheduled hours. (optional)
You can also choose to apply MFA only to Reader Side A or B.
- Click Save to apply your schedule to the desired door.
NOTES:
If no schedule is assigned, the door will remain locked 24/7.
You can apply different schedules to each door based on Area,
Access Groups, or Entity based operational needs.
Door schedules override manual door unlock commands unless
disabled via Lockdown or manual override.
