Summary
This article provides instructions for managing event and system notifications.
Prerequisite
Before starting, create an event notification (see OnCloud: How do I add a notification?).
Managing Event Notifications
NOTE: Hanwha recommends not enabling object notifications when using a browser
due to rate limiting. Alternatively, use a browser without rate limiting.
To turn event notifications on or off:
- Log in to Cloud Portal.
- Navigate to OnCloud.
- Click the Bell icon.
The Notifications screen opens.
- Click the Gear icon.
- Click Pause all notifications to turn OFF all notifications.
The button changes to Resume all notifications.
- Click Resume all notifications to turn notification back ON.
Managing Individual Notifications
You can make individual changes to notifications that you create.
Notifications that someone shared with you are marked with Shared. You cannot make changes to these individually.
To manage individual notifications:
- Click the chevron (
) to view the details for a notification.
- Click the pencil (
) to edit notification details (Events, Cameras, Schedule, Users, Notification Type), or Pause or Delete the notification.
Managing System Notifications
To turn system notifications on or off:
- Log in to Cloud Portal.
- Navigate to OnCloud.
- Click the Bell icon.
The Notifications screen opens.
- Click the Gear icon.
- Click System Notifications.
- Toggle the Email notification or Push notification ON or OFF.
