Summary

An event is something that happens in a video feed. This article provides instructions for browsing and filtering events by time, location, and type.

Filtering by Date and Time

To filter events by date and time:

1. Log in to  Cloud Portal.  
    
2. Navigate to OnCloud.
    
3. Click the Events icon. 
   
   
    

4. To filter for a single date, click the Date box at the top of the page, select a date, and click OK.

   
    

5. To filter for multiple dates, click the  Date  box, click  Date Range, select a range of dates, then click  Apply.
    
   
    

6. To filter for time, click the  Time  box at the top of the page, drag the sliders, then click OK.

   

Applying Event Filters

You can select event filters in the Filters column to the left of the screen. The Locations, Areas, Devices, and Event Type filters are always available. Other filters depend on the currently selected Event Type. You can also use the OnCloud AI Search to enter your search and select the correct filter options.

To filter by location, area, or camera: 

1. Click Locations, Areas, or Devices.
    
2. Select the checkboxes to make your selections.
   
   

To filter by event type:

1. Scroll down to the Event Type section in the left menu. 
    
2. Click an option, such as Person, to show all matching events.
   
   Available options depend on the Oncloud AI Search. 
    
3. For most event types, you can select detailed options.
   
   For example, if you select Person, you can see a Shirt Color section below.
