Summary
This article provides instructions for enabling the Video Info (or Show Info) overlay, which displays critical streaming metrics such as resolution, frames per second (fps), and bitrate.
Enabling Video Information
To show or hide video information:
- Open BLAZE Desktop Client.
- Right-click in the view panel and select Show info.
If you right-click a specific video and choose Show info, it toggles the info for that video only.
If you right-click an empty area of the panel and choose Show info, it toggles the info for all videos.
The following items are available in the video information section.

| Model | Device model name |
| Format | Display only when playing video files

| IP | Device IP address |
| Codec | Video Codec Type
When hardware decoding, the hardware decoding method is also displayed
Ex: H.264_QSV, H.265_CUDA, H.264_TBX |
| Resolution | Video resolution |
| FPS | Received frames per second |
| Bitrate | Received bitrate |
| Stream | Video Stream Profile

| Video Size | Video size displayed in the view panel |
| Buffered | Number of decoding buffer frames |
| Audio Codec | Displayed only when audio input is enabled in audio settings

| Set to record | Display information according to recording settings
|
| Record Status | Display current recording status information on the server

| Play Time | Live

| Transmission | Only displayed when logged in to Hanwha Vision Cloud
