Summary
Hanwha Vision’s Similarity Search provides a more accurate way to discover appearances of the same person across multiple Wisenet 9 cameras, BLAZE appliances, and servers within a BLAZE system. This article provides instructions for how to use Similarity Search.
Using Similarity Search
To use Similarity Search:
- Log in to BLAZE.
- Click the Objects tab on either the View screen or the Objects screen.
- Select a timeframe (including unlimited) and a set of devices (including all).
- Right-click an image of the person and select Open in Objects tab.
The system shows people with similar attributes within a limited time range.

Click the overlapping circles (
) icon to activate Similarity Search.
The system finds similar matches across the selected cameras. The Similar to option appears.

Sort by time to track movement, or by Confidence to identify the best match.

Adjust the Confidence Level slider to expand or narrow your search based on the AI’s confidence in the match.
Change the Time settings to search for the person over a longer or shorter interval, including multiple days, and select which devices to include and exclude from the search.

Click any image to review the associated video clip. To view the clip in a greater detail click Open in new tab. You can also bookmark or export the clip as needed.
