Applies to: BLAZE Web Client
Summary
This article provides instructions to use the Object and Event search tools within the BLAZE Web Client to locate and review recorded footage efficiently.
Prerequisites
Before using these search features, ensure the following requirements are met:
-
Account Access - Your system must be linked to the Cloud, and you must have an active Cloud Portal account assigned the Blaze role.
- Hardware Compatibility - The Object and Event search tools only support devices that feature built-in Hanwha Vision analytics.
Searching for Objects
To begin searching for specific metadata or occurrences, follow these steps:
- Log in to BLAZE.
-
Select Objects from the top navigation menu.
By default, the client displays a list of recent objects sorted chronologically (newest first). You can scroll through this list manually or use the filter tools to narrow down specific criteria.
-
Specify a date using the Calendar date/time selector. Once selected, the timeline automatically updates the first available video segment for that period.
-
Select a thumbnail image to view the recording. The interface transitions to the camera view page and begins playback of that specific event.
-
To return to your filtered results and continue searching, select Back.
Locating Events
To review system and camera triggers, use the dedicated Events interface:
-
Select Events from the top navigation menu.
-
Narrow your search using the date and time selector. For supported cameras, use Device Filters to isolate specific hardware or Event Type Filters to look for specific triggers (such as Motion, Loitering, or Line Crossing).
-
Select any event entry from the list to launch the camera view and automatically begin playback of the associated video.
