This article explains how BLAZE licensing works during failover and what happens if a server remains offline for an extended period.

Licensing for BLAZE System Failover

You do not need special licensing to handle failover, because failover is considered a temporary phase lasting less than 30 days. During this time, the failover server automatically manages the additional load without requiring any special licensing.

IMPORTANT: If a server remains offline for more than 30 days, the License Keys 
attached to that server and all associated Channel Licenses stop working. This 
issue can also affect devices on other servers if a License Key is shared across 
multiple servers.
