Summary
This article details the process to close an incident after investigating.
Prerequisite
Before starting, create an incident (see OnCloud: How do I create an incident?).
Closing an Incident
To close an incident:
- Log in to Cloud Portal.
- Navigate to OnCloud.

Click the Incidents icon.
- Click an incident in the list to open it.

Click the three-dot menu, and then click Close.
This opens the Close Incident dialog.
- Click the circle beside Closed - Resolved or Closed - Unresolved to select the status.
- To pick a custom closing date, click the Close Date field. You can pick a date from the calendar, or you can type a date in MM/DD/YYYY format.
- To pick a custom closing time, click the Close Time field. You can click the clock icon to pick a time, or you can type a time in 12-hour format.
- In the Final Analysis box, enter your closing notes.
- Click Confirm.
