Summary
The Global Profile feature allows users to save frequently used Video Profiles and reuse them across multiple projects. Instead of recreating the same profile settings from scratch for every new project, users can create a Global Profile once and import it into any project as needed.
This article describes how to create Global Profiles in DesignPro.
Creating a Global Profile
The Global Profile screen uses the same UI layout as the Profile tab inside a project. To create a new Global Profile:
- Log in to DesignPro.
Navigate to Projects > Global Profiles.
NOTE: When you first open the Global Profile tab, a default Global Profile is automatically created. This default profile uses the same settings as the default Project Profile and cannot be deleted.- On the Global Profile screen, click + New.
- Enter a profile name.
- Configure the profile settings (Scene, Filter, FoV, Schedule, and other options) as needed.
Click Save.
Once saved, the Global Profile appears as a card in the Global Profile list.
NOTE: You can create up to 20 Global Profiles, including the default Global Profile. When the maximum is reached, the + New button is disabled. Hovering
over the button displays a tooltip: You have reached the maximum number of
profiles.
