Summary
For BLAZE to play a pre-recorded message on a Hanwha Vision IP speaker, it must be configured in the IP audio device, and a BLAZE rule must be created. This article describes how to configure BLAZE using a SUNAPI-based HTTP request to play a pre-recorded audio file on a Hanwha Vision IP speaker.
Configuring the IP Audio Device
To configure the IP audio device:
- Log in to the IP device’s web page.
- Navigate to Operation Setting > Source File Management.
- Click the three-dot button to select an audio source file, then click Upload.

Test the SUNAPI command by opening a web browser and entering the following:
http://[IP speaker address]/stw-cgi/eventrules.cgi?msubmenu=audiooutfiles&action=control&Type=Play&Name=[filename]For example: http://192.168.254.81/stw-cgi/eventrules.cgi?msubmenu=audiooutfiles&action=control&Type=Play&Name=step.mp3
Configuring a BLAZE Rule Action
To configure a BLAZE rule action:
- Log in to BLAZE.
- Navigate to Settings > Rules.
- Select and rule or create a new one by clicking + Rule.
- Click Add action and select Send HTTP request.
- Enter the request in the POST field.
- Add the Username and Password for the device.
You can now trigger the rule.
