Summary
Federation UI in BLAZE allows you to manage information from multiple systems registered under an organization, all from a single screen.
When a System is connected to the Cloud, the Login screen displays the connected systems and their parent Organizations. By clicking on an Organization icon to enter the Federation UI, you can manage all the systems connected beneath it from a single screen.
NOTE: Federation features operate based on information stored in the Cloud. As a
result, not all features available in the System are supported — only a limited set
of features can be used.
User Management
On the Federation User Management screen, you can view Portal accounts and grant specific accounts access to the BLAZE System. Users are categorized into the following types based on their access permissions:
- Global User: Can access all Systems under an Organization.
- System User: Can access a specific System.
- Portal User: Can access the portal webpage but does not have permission to use BLAZE.
Live View and Layout
Access the Live View by clicking in the top box in the BLAZE screen. When viewing Live in the Federation UI, a list of Systems is displayed in the left tree view.
Selecting a specific system connects to that system, retrieves device information from it, and displays it as a list.
In the Live View screen, you can monitor devices from different systems on a single screen, and save the view as a Layout. Federation Layouts are stored in the Cloud and can be accessed by any account that has permission to use the Federation UI.
