I have a BLAZE appliance. How do I license it?
You do not need to license your BLAZE appliance. BLAZE appliances come pre-licensed with permanent, perpetual Premium licenses. For example, a 16-channel BLAZE appliance is pre-loaded with 16 licenses out of the box.
What is the difference between a Free and Premium license?
Both types of licenses unlock full BLAZE functionality. Free licenses expire after 30 days, while Premium licenses are perpetual and never expire.
I have downloaded BLAZE and installed it on my server. How do I license it?

- Each fresh installation includes five 30-day licenses
- You can request a 30-day trial license for any number of devices
For permanent access to BLAZE, you need Premium licenses.
I have downloaded BLAZE Client and want to connect to an existing BLAZE Server. What do I need?

Why do I need the Software Upgrade Plan (SUP)?

Why is BLAZE showing fractional licenses remaining?
Some devices only use only a fraction of a license. For example, if you have a 10-channel license and use it on 3 panoramic cameras and 7 NVR cameras, it will report that you have used 3.825 channels out of 10.
