Summary

The article describes the antivirus exclusion lists for Hanwha Vision BLAZE Client and Server software for all platforms.

IMPORTANT: For security reasons, we do not recommend applying these exclusions 
unconditionally. However, if you experience performance degradation, latency, or 
connection issues caused by your antivirus software, please add the listed items 
to your exclusion list.

BLAZE Desktop Client Antivirus Exclusions

There are three exclusion groups for the desktop client:

• Directories
• Executables
• Local Data, Logs, and Database Directory

Directory Exclusions

To ensure smooth operation across all currently installed and future versions of the BLAZE client, it is highly recommended to exclude the entire root folder and its subdirectories:

Windows

%PROGRAMFILES%\Hanwha Vision\BLAZE client\*

Absolute Path Example:

C:\Program Files\Hanwha Vision\BLAZE client\*

macOS

~/Library/Application Support/Hanwha Vision/BLAZE client/*

Executable (Binary) Exclusions

If your security policy requires excluding specific executable files rather than entire folders, you must navigate into the specific version folder (<Installed_Version>) to locate the binaries.

Windows

NOTE: If you update or switch to a different version of the BLAZE Client in the 
future, you will need to update the version number in your antivirus exclusion 
rules accordingly.

BLAZE Server Antivirus Exclusions

The following paths and all of their subdirectories must be excluded recursively.
