Applies to: BLAZE
Summary
This article lists the cameras incompatible with BLAZE, as well as the reasons for incompatibility.
Incompatible Camera Models
The following camera is incompatible with BLAZE due to a limit on the number of profiles that can be created in the camera. If integration is required, please register the camera with RTSP.
- SNB-9000
Limited Compatibility
The following cameras have limited compatibility due to profile limitations. To register the cameras, delete the MOBILE profile and any other user/VMS created profiles. Set an initial password for the camera. After registering the camera, it will function. However, the Secondary profile will be stuck at 1920 x 1080 due to the profile/codec/aspect ratio limitations. Recording the secondary profile may impact system performance, especially motion detection. It is recommended to manually create the necessary profiles, or edit them after BLAZE creates them. Certain cameras may not allow the creation of the BLAZESecondary profile at the correct aspect ratio to match the BLAZEPrimary profile, which may cause an aspect ratio mismatch or cropping.

The secondary stream is stuck at MJPEG, which is not supported. This may impact Motion Detection. Due to older API and CODECs, you may need to create the necessary profiles on the encoder and then register the camera with an alternate username. Certain configuration items may not be available in the BLAZE user interface.
Wisenet L Series Cameras
Due to older API and CODECs, you may need to create the necessary profiles on the camera and then register the device. Certain configuration items may not be available in the BLAZE user interface.

Other models before H.265 codec may have limited compatibility and require workarounds such as those listed above or registering via RTSP. Wisenet 3 S-series era cameras use the ONVIF protocol, and thus may not have all features fully integrated. However you can stream and record video.
PNM-C16013RV is currently incompatible. An upcoming release will address this issue.
