Applies to: HealthPro
Issue Summary
A firmware update on HealthPro can fail on a child device connected to the HealthPro Bridge. This article describes how the HealthPro Bridge behaves when a firmware update on a child device connected to the HealthPro Bridge fails via the remote software update feature in HealthPro.
Resolution
When HealthPro Bridge receives a firmware update failure response from the target device or receives no response, it determines on its own whether the update has failed. If it determines a failure, the firmware update is retried up to three times. The target device may reboot during the process.
If the firmware update finally fails, the device's current firmware version is retained and no action is required from the user. HealthPro users also can view firmware update results in the Device logs menu in HealthPro.
