Summary

A description can be entered separately in the Map and Devices tab. This article describes how to change the description on the Map and Devices tab.

Changing Device Description

To change the description:

1. Log in to DesignPro.
    
2. Navigate to the Devices or Maps tab.
    

3. Edit the description of the device by clicking the orange pencil while hovering over the description (nickname) under the camera model name in the Devices or Maps tab.
   
   
    

   NOTE: To have separate descriptions of the same device model keep them 
   separated in the Devices tab.

   The device description should now reflect the change you made. If you have already dragged that device onto a map it should also reflect there.
   
   
    

   The Device description also applies to corresponding devices in the Map, Accessory, and Bandwidth reports.
