Summary
This article describes how to design a camera’s field of vision ([FoV] setting of beam color, focal length, installation height, target distance, tilt angle, hallway view, camera rotation) on a map.
FoV Color
To adjust the FoV color:
- In the device list, set the FoV beam color of the camera.
- Hover the mouse to the slim colored UI on the left side of the camera thumbnail in the device list.
- Click the color setting UI.
- Choose one of 15 colors for FoV beam.
FoV Setting
This section describes the FoV settings.
| Hallway View | Used to rotate 90 degrees when looking at the train platform. |
| Focal length | Adjust the horizontal angle by setting the slide bar or number. |
| Target distance | Change the target distance by setting the slide bar or number. |
| Installation height | Initial installation height is automatically set according to the environment of the Scene setting of the profile(Indoor environment: 9 ft, Outdoor environment: 15 ft), it also supports manual setting by the slide bar or number. |
| Tilt angle |
The tilt angle is automatically adjusted according to the vertical angle and the side view upper range is adjusted parallel to the ceiling(horizontally) by default. When you adjust the focal length, the tilt angle doesn’t change automatically. Also, you can change the tilt angle manually. |
| Camera rotation | Rotate the center of the camera FoV beam on the map by setting slide bar and number. |
| Delete from map | Delete the selected camera from the map. |
| Handler1 |
In case of V/F, Zoom(PTZ) lens, adjust the horizontal angle by clicking and dragging points at both ends of the FoV beam. |
| Handler2 | Rotate the FoV beam around the camera. Change the target distance by clicking and dragging this point. |
