Applies to: HealthPro and Cloud Portal
Summary
The HealthPro Life Cycle Dashboard displays camera life cycle information, including warranty status and End-of-Life (EOL) information.
If your organization has been issued a STEP Customer Code for a special warranty program, enter and submit the code in Cloud Portal. After the request is approved, the applicable warranty information can be displayed in HealthPro. This article explains how customers enter a STEP Customer Code for warranty management.
IMPORTANT: The code is entered in Cloud Portal, not in HealthPro.NOTE: Standard warranty information requires a STEP Partner to be associated with
your Customer Organization. The STEP Customer Code described in this article
applies specifically to customers who have been issued a special warranty program.STEP Code Types
There are two different types of STEP Code. Use the code intended for your organization and program.
| Code type | Purpose and Who Receives |
| STEP Partner Code | Used when joining or creating a STEP Partner Organization in Cloud Portal. This is the original partner-related use of the STEP Code. It is generally issued to distributors, resellers, and system integrators that handle Hanwha Vision equipment; end customers typically do not have this code. |
| STEP Customer Code | Issued directly by Hanwha Vision to a limited number of end customers for a special warranty program. This is the code described in this article and entered in the Customer Organization settings. |
IMPORTANT: A STEP Partner Code and a STEP Customer Code are not interchangeable.
Enter a STEP Customer Code only if Hanwha Vision has issued one to your
organization for a special warranty program.
Prerequisites
- Obtain a STEP Customer Code directly from your Hanwha Vision representative if your organization is enrolled in a special warranty program.
- Make sure you can sign in to Cloud Portal and access your Customer Organization settings.
- Confirm that your devices are onboarded to HealthPro.
NOTE: A STEP Partner Organization uses a STEP Partner Code, whereas this article
covers the STEP Customer Code entered in a Customer Organization. For information
about creating a STEP Partner Organization, see Cloud Portal: How to create a STEP
Partner Organization.
Submitting a STEP Customer Code
To enter and submit a STEP customer code:
- Sign in to Cloud Portal.
- Open your Customer Organization.
- Navigate to the organization settings.
- Complete the required organization fields, including the STEP Code field.
- Enter the STEP Customer Code issued by Hanwha Vision for your special warranty program.
- Submit the request.
After submission, the STEP Customer Code request enters Pending Approval status and is reviewed through the Cloud Portal approval workflow.
NOTE: You can continue using HealthPro's other monitoring, health visibility, and
device management features while the STEP Customer Code request is pending. Warranty
information associated with the code is not applied until the request is approved.Verifying Warranty Information in HealthPro
After Hanwha Vision approves the request:
- Launch HealthPro.
- Open the Organization Dashboard.
- Open the Life Cycle Dashboard.
- Review the life cycle and warranty information displayed for supported devices.
HealthPro uses the approved STEP Customer Code information to display the applicable special warranty coverage together with available life cycle information, such as warranty status and EOL data.
NOTE: If devices were onboarded before the STEP Customer Code was approved and
linked, they may initially appear as Unknown Devices in the Life Cycle Dashboard.
Click Reconfirm to recalculate the warranty information for all registered
devices. Devices onboarded after the STEP Customer Code is approved are processed
automatically, so no Reconfirm action is required for those devices.
