Summary
This article provides instructions for configuring a Hanwha camera with Avigilon.
Configuring the Camera
To configure the camera: (mandatory)
- Enter the camera’s IP address in a web browser.
- Log in to the camera.
- Navigate to Camera Settings > Basic > IP & Port, then set the IP address.
- Navigate to Camera Settings > Basic > Date & Time, then select the correct Time zone.

If needed for Daylight saving time, check the box next to Enable.
NOTE: It is strongly recommended to synchronize the camera’s time with a local
or internet NTP server. At a minimum, ensure the PC time is correct and synchronize
the camera time with the PC. - Navigate to Camera Settings > Basic > Video profile.
- If using the camera audio in/microphone or Audio Analytics, check the box next to Enable under the MJPEG profile.
- If recording based on Motion Detection, navigate to Camera Settings > Analytics > Motion detection, then check the box next to Enable motion detection.
- Fine tune motion configuration on the camera to minimize false alarms. (optional)
- Configure any applicable analytics, such as line crossing or intrusion. (optional)
- Enable optional camera settings as detailed at the end of this document. (optional)
