Summary
This article describes how to re-install the LPR application.
Prerequisites
Please use the camera and software version compatibility listed below:
- Camera firmware v2.10.01 or greater -> LPR Application v3.20.45
- Camera firmware v1.41.02 or earlier -> Arteco app 3.20.25
Before re-installation:
- Set the correct time and date.
- Update your Hanwha Techwin Wisenet camera to the latest available firmware.
LPR Software Re-installation
To re-install the LPR application:
- Log in to the camera.
- Download the LPR application.
Locate the LPR license key on the quick reference guide.
NOTE: If you cannot find the key, contact Hanwha Technical Support.- Select Setup > Open platform.
- Click the three-dot menu to browse for the xxxLPR.cap file.
- Click Install.
- After the application is installed, click Start.
- Select the checkbox by Auto Start.
- Click Apply > Go App.
Activating the Key
After installing the LPR application, the license key must be activated.
To activate the license key:
- Enter the license key.
- Click Enter.
Restoring Camera Configuration
After the LPR application is licensed, follow these steps to restore a pre-defined camera configuration. This overrides the current camera configuration, including username and password.
To restore the camera configuration:
- Select Setup > System > Upgrade/Restart.
- Click Restore.
- Brown for the xxx.bin file for your camera model.
- Reconnect to the camera.
- Use the following credentials to log in to the camera.
Username: admin
Password: Techwin1#
