Applies to: OnCAFE, Microsoft Entra ID, SCIM Provisioning
Summary
The CardNumber mapping is used to send a card number value from Microsoft Entra ID to OnCAFE during SCIM provisioning.
This mapping can be used when an existing Microsoft Entra user attribute, such as employeeId, is being used as the source value for the card number in OnCAFE.
This article explains how to configure the CardNumber attribute mapping in Microsoft Entra.
Prerequisites
Before configuring the CardNumber mapping, confirm:
- The Microsoft Entra Enterprise Application has been created.
- Provisioning credentials have been configured successfully.
- The OnCAFE credential attributes have been added to the customappsso attribute list.
- CardNumber is available as a target attribute in Microsoft Entra.
- Which Microsoft Entra attribute will be used as the card number source.
Configuring CardNumber Mapping
To configure the card number mapping:
- Open the Microsoft Entra Enterprise Application created for OnCAFE.
- From the Enterprise Application menu, select Provisioning > Attribute mapping > Provision Microsoft Entra ID Users.
- From the Attribute Mapping page, select Add New Mapping, or edit an existing mapping.
- Set Mapping type to Direct.
In the Source attribute field, select the Microsoft Entra attribute that will be used as the card number source.
Example: employeeId
- In the Target attribute field, select CardNumber.
- Set Match objects using this attribute to No.
- Set Apply this mapping to Always.
- Click OK.
- Click Save on the main Attribute Mapping page.
When prompted, click Yes to confirm the change.
The Microsoft Entra source attribute is mapped to the OnCAFE CardNumber target attribute. During provisioning, the selected source value can be sent to OnCAFE as the card number value for the provisioned identity.
NOTE: For immediate testing, use Provision on demand with an individual user.
