Applies to: OnCAFE, Microsoft Entra ID, SCIM Provisioning
Summary
Import Mapping defines which Microsoft Entra field values OnCAFE should use when importing credential-related data.
This article explains how to configure Import Mapping for Microsoft Entra credential data in OnCAFE.
IMPORTANT: This configuration is completed in OnCAFE, not in the Microsoft Entra
admin center. The values entered in OnCAFE must match the custom target attributes
configured in Microsoft Entra.
Prerequisites
Before configuring Import Mapping, confirm:
- The Microsoft Entra integration has been enabled in OnCAFE.
- Provisioning credentials have been configured in Microsoft Entra.
- The required OnCAFE credential attributes have been added to the Microsoft Entra attribute list.
- The required credential mappings have been configured in Microsoft Entra.
- The required card format has been configured.
Configuring Import Mapping in OnCAFE
To configure Import Mapping:
- Log in to OnCAFE.
- In OnCAFE, navigate to Organization > Integrations.
- Locate and open the Microsoft Entra integration.
- Select View details > Configuration.
- Click the Import Mapping tab.
Select the appropriate Card Format.
NOTE: The available Card Format options are based on the card formats
configured under Organization > Credential settings.Example: Standard 26 Bit
In the Entra field attribute column, enter the matching attribute names configured in Microsoft Entra.
Example:Name Type Entra field attribute OnCAFE attribute Card Number String CardNumber CARD_NUMBER Card Status Boolean CardStatus CARD_STATUS Facility code String FacilityCode FACILITY_CODE - Confirm that each Entra field attribute matches the target attribute configured in Microsoft Entra.
- Click Save.
The Microsoft Entra credential attributes are mapped to the corresponding OnCAFE credential fields. When provisioning runs, OnCAFE can use the mapped Entra field values to import cardholder credential data.
