Applies to: Hanwha PTZ Models operating in Milestone XProtect

Summary

Hanwha PTZ cameras have a feature called Area Zoom, which is the ability to zoom in on an area when a box is drawn. To use this feature in Milestone's XProtect Smart Client, a setting must be changed in Smart Client.

Operating Area Zoom

To operate Area Zoom: 

1. Log in to XProtect Smart Client.
    
2. Navigate to Application, change the Default PTZ click mode from Virtual joystick to Click-to-center.
   
   
   
3. Click Close to exit.
