Summary

This article describes how to create alarms based on camera events in Milestone.

Creating Alarms

To create an alarm:

1. In the Management Client, select Alarms > Alarm Definitions > Add New.
   
   
   
   
2. For the Triggering event, select Device Events. A second drop-down box appears.
   
   
3. Select any analytic that is enabled.
   
   
4. For the Sources, select the camera(s)/group, etc.
   
   
5. Finish the rest of the Alarm Definition as needed per Milestone recommendations.
