Summary
This article explains how to configure WAVE to change the layout to show intercom video when the intercom button is pressed while handling the audio with a SIP phone.
NOTE: For the call button function to be available, please use the in-client
upgrade code below to bring your system to the listed version. If you are already
on this or a higher version, proceed as normal through the instructions.

To integrate TID-600R:
- Log in to WAVE.
- Right-click on the name of the server, then select Add Device.
- Enter the IP address, user name, and password of the intercom and click Search.
- Check the box on the far right of the screen.
Click Add all Devices.
NOTE: In WAVE version 5.x, the layout is automatically generated when adding
the TID-600R to the system, so steps 6-9 are not necessary.Right-click on the Layouts.
Select New Layout.
Enter the Layout Name to use.
- Click OK.
- Select the Layout that you have just created and customize the layout by dragging and dropping the cameras that you want to see when the intercom call is detected.
- Click Ctrl + E.
The Event Rules window appears.
- Click Add to create the desired rule.
Set the When drop-down to Analytics Event.
NOTE: The Intercom layout will be displayed when the call is triggered from the
intercom.- Set the second drop-down on the When line to Starts.
Select your event source from the At window to the TID-600r you want to be the source of your event.
NOTE: This window allows multiple device selections.- Select Call Request from the Event Type drop-down.
- Select Open layout from the Do drop-down.
Leave the check box for the Interval of Action unchecked to make the action instant.
NOTE: If you put a check in the box and set a time limit, the layout will close automatically after the selected time period has expired.- Click Layout to select your layout.
- Click Show To to select users to whom to execute this rule.
Click OK to save the new rule.
NOTE: The audio can be picked up by SIP phone or Softphone.
