Applies to: All Zenitel Intercoms
Summary
When a password is changed on Zenitel intercoms, such as the TCIS-3, it does not change the password for the ONVIF profile. This article describes how to change the password using the ONVIF Device Manager.
Changing System Default Password
On Zenitel intercoms (i.e. TCIS-3), the default username/password is admin / alphadmin. To change this password:
- Log into the intercom.
- Navigate to Station Administration > Change Password.
- Following the criteria for details of the password, create the new password.
Click SAVE.
NOTE: Using Wisenet WAVE as an example, changing the system password does
not change the ONVIF profile password to enroll/add the device. In this
example, the password was changed to Hanwha01!. No devices were found, but
using the default password still works.
Changing the ONVIF Profile Password
To change the ONVIF profile password:
- Using ONVIF Device Manager, log in with the newly created default credentials (in this example, admin / Hanwha01!).
- Select User Management > Modify.
- Enter the new password for the ONVIF profile (i.e., Hanwha01!).
The newly created ONVIF profile password will now work to discover and enroll the Zenitel intercom.
