Summary
This article provides instructions for extension creation in 3CX PBX version 14 and registration of the intercom to the PBX.
Configuring 3CX for TID-600R
To configure 3CX:
- Log in to the 3CX Phone System Management Console.
- Click Extensions.
- Click Add.
- Provide the User Information for the TID-600R extension.
a) Extension = Contact the 3CX admin to utilize a valid numbering plan.
b) First Name and Last Name = This can be as simple as the location of the TID-600R in the site.
c) Outbound Caller ID = When a call from TID-600R is forwarded to an external party, this caller ID info displays to the external party.
- Provide the SIP Authentication information for the TID-600R extension.
d) ID = Extension number provided in step (a)
e) Password = Provide a password for registering the TID-600R to 3CX
Click the Phone Provisioning tab.
Select the Transport protocol required (TID-600R supports UDP, TCP, TLS)
Select RTP mode (for Secure communication, use Only secure or Allow secure)
Select DTMF mode (TID-600R supports RFC2833 and SIP Info)
Verify the audio Codecs listed are supported by TID-600R (TID-600R supports G711, OPUS, G722)
Click the Options tab.

Verify that the boxes next to Support Re-Invite and Support Replaces Header are checked.
3CX supports the following Video Codec by default, TID-600R VOIP profile is an H264 profile.
