Summary

This article provides instructions for viewing a single camera and using the controls.

Using Basic Controls

To use basic controls:

1. Log in to Cloud Portal.
    
2. Navigate to OnCloud.
    
3. Click the Cameras icon.
   
   
    

4. Click the name of a camera to open it.
   
   
    

   To pause the video, click Pause (). To play it, click Play ().
    

   To mute or unmute the video, click the Speaker () icon.
    

   Click and drag the timeline to move forward and backward in time.
   
   
    

   The vertical dashes on the timeline represent events, such as a person or vehicle moving. 
   
   
   
   To move between events, click the Skip buttons (). To set these buttons to skip a set number of seconds, click the Gear icon (), then click Scrub Speed.

   To view video in full screen, click the Expand icon ().

   To exit full screen view, click the Contract icon ().
    

   Click Go Live to show live video.

Browsing by Date and Time

To browse by date and time:

1. Click the Calendar icon () above the timeline to show video for a certain date and time, and then click Apply.
    
2. Click the Unit button (Mins is set by default) to change the scale of the timeline. The button toggles between minutes, seconds, and days.
    
3. Click the Playback Speed button (set to by 1x default) to change the speed of playback. You can watch at up to 8x speed.

Browsing Events

To browse events:

1. In the menu on the right, click an event to show it.
   
   
    
2. To filter by event type, click the Sliders icon (). In the All Tags dialog, toggle the switches to select event types, then click Apply.
3. To filter by date and time, click the Calendar icon (), select a date and time, then click Apply.
4. To search for events a specific area of the video, click the Grid icon (), then click and drag on the video to select the desired area. You can also move and resize the selection. 
   
   The list on the right updates to show events in that part of the video feed.
   
   

Saving Images and Video

To save images and video:

1. To save an image, click the Camera icon ().
2. To save a video clip, click the Film strip icon ().

Controlling the Camera

To control the camera:

1. For compatible cameras, you can change the pan-tilt-zoom. Click the Gear icon (), then click Pan Tilt Zoom.
    
2. If you are an administrator, you can access camera settings from the camera’s settings menu. Click the Gear icon (), then click All Camera Settings.
