Summary:
As a result of installing the NVR product in the office and measuring the voltage between the NVR case and the building earth, there is a voltage difference. Ghost Voltage [NEV, Neutral to Earth voltage] phenomenon mistaken for leakage voltage
[Note]
Grounding prevents electric shock by allowing leaked current to flow through earth, not through humans, when a power line leaks for some reason, and has an absolute effect on safety as well as equipment protection. Therefore, grounding should be done properly in normal environments.
Step By Step Guide:
Cause
- NVR Ground Connection terminal was not grounded
[Note]
Ghost Voltage is invalid phenomenon caused by potential difference between neutral terminal and ground when no ground is connected to the equipment. (Not a defect in the product)
Counterplan
- Grounding the NVR. (Comply to the installation guide)
