In an effort to maintain standards, Hanwha uses the web UI for all knowledge base
articles pertaining to product configuration. Open Chrome, enter the IP Address
of your device into the URL bar, and click Enter. If you are not using the web UI
to configure your device, please refer to the user manual for your product. Summary
This article outlines how to configure an event, such as motion detection or a digital I/O trigger, to transfer image snapshots or a series of snapshots from a camera to an FTP server. This setup can be performed either locally on a LAN or transferred to a remote FTP across the WAN.
Configuring a Network Camera for FPT Event Transfers
To setup a network camera for an FTP event:
- Log in using valid admin credentials.
- Click the Gear icon at the top of the interface.
- Navigate to Event > FTP/E-mail.
- Enter the parameters for the FTP server (either local address or remote WAN address) then click Apply.
- Click Time schedule from the menu on the left.
- Check the Enable checkbox and select the Interval time to transfer images to the FTP server, then click Apply.
