Issue Summary
During setting up recording to a Synology NAS from the camera's Web UI, the connection can fail. If the connection fails to work, please follow the steps below to correct the issue.
The image below shows a failure connecting to the NAS.
Resolution
To connect to the NAS:
- Log into the Synology NAS and ensure the folder is in the root drive and empty.
- Ensure SMB v1 is set to the minimum protocol in the NAS Control Panel.
- Confirm that it is set to SMB1, select Apply.
