Installing Network and Power Cables

When you install the SNV-6084R in outdoor or high-moisture environments, you must properly prepare and install the rubber sealing plugs.

The camera includes the alarm/audio cable assembly with the sealing plug already installed. It also includes the power cable, which you must install. The power cable is required for 24V AC heater operation, even if the camera receives PoE power.

Pass the network cable through the rubber sealing plug, then attach the RJ-45 jack after the cable passes through the plug. The images below show the installation process.

CAUTION: After the nipples are removed, they cannot be reattached.
