Summary
WAVE Event Logs keep a record of all system events. To speed up and simplify the troubleshooting processes, you might be asked to provide the WAVE server or camera Event Logs taken from the Wave Desktop Client. This article provides instructions for exporting Event Logs from the WAVE Desktop Client.
Exporting Wisenet WAVE Event Logs
To export Event Logs:
- Log in to the Wave Desktop Client as admin or a user with admin rights.
Press CTRL+L to bring up the Event logs or right-click Events and select Event Logs.
- Filter events by choosing the start and end date.
- Select Any Server Issue if troubleshooting server-related issues or Any Camera Issue if troubleshooting camera-related issues.
- Select Any Server/Camera and choose Any Action.
Right-click anywhere on the search results, choose Select All, then select Export Selection to File.
- Export as HTML and provide a copy to Tech Support.
