Updating Using Android
To update the firmware or profile using Android:
- Open the Wavelynx Configure app.
- Click Profile & Cards.
- Click Manage my files.
- Click Download File and enter the download token.
- Return to the main menu of the Configure app and click Profile & Cards.
- Power cycle the reader.
- Within 60 seconds, while touching the reader with your device, click TAP.
The reader LED changes color when connected.
On the Cards tab, select the token to perform the firmware upgrade or profile update.
IMPORTANT: Make sure to keep the phone in contact with the reader or
very close as to not break the connection. This could cause the update
to fail and, in some cases, corrupt the firmware on the reader. This may
take 3-5 minutes.
Once the update is finished, the reader will reboot at least once and
return to its normal LED operation.- From the main menu of the Configure app, click Reader Details.
- Click Tap while mobile device is touching the reader.
The reader LED changes color when connected.
- Confirm the Firmware.
