Loitering Detection Failure in IVA Area

Summary

Symptom

When IVA area was created and loitering event detection was enabled, loitering event was not occurred and motion detection was occurred instead of loitering event.
- Condition: object - person, category - loitering, minimum duration - 10s(min value)

Step by Step

Cause

- The movement of the object to be detected is not continuous, so it does not meet the Loitering detection conditions.
- In the following cases, loitering detection is not possible because the loitering detection target object is recognized as having disappeared.
  a. When the target object does not move for a certain period of time
  b. When the target object overlaps another object
  c. In complex environments where there are moving objects in the vicinity of the target object

Solution

Enable the Loitering Detection and EnterDetection together.
