How to resolve the problem that the audio setting is initialized when the camera is restarted.

Summary

When the camera is already registered with the recording device such as NVR/SSM,
If you check Audio Input in the profile to use audio in the camera and reboot the camera, the Audio Input setting changes to unchecked.

Step by Step

Cause

When you reboot the camera after changing the camera settings,the camera will get the setting values from the connected recording device(NVR/SSM) in the process of restoring the settings.
At this time,It might be happened when audio setting was not configured in the recording device.

Solution

You can fix the issue by first completing the audio settings on the recording device and then performing the camera audio settings as shown below.

1) Go to Setup > Record > Record setup > Audio and turn on the audio in NVR.

2) Change Audio item to On in the profile from the camera.
