Summary

The NVR runs on the Ubuntu Linux Operating System and has a different procedure for preparing storage than a Windows PC. This article provides instructions for adding storage capacity to a WRN series NVR. 

Adding Storage

To add additional storage to a WRN series NVR: 

1. Remove the screws for the top case and remove the casing to see inside the unit.
   
   

   NOTE: Refer to the instructions in the Wave PoE NVR manual.

2. Physically mount the driving using the included screws from your drive manufacturer.
   
    
3. Connect the power and data cables to the new drive.
