Summary

BestShot is an AI camera feature that intelligently selects and captures the best still frame of an object, minimizing bandwidth and storage requirements while ensuring the highest possible image quality for identification. Attributes are the metadata tags extracted and cataloged along with the BestShot image. This makes it possible to perform specific and highly efficient searches in recorded video footage. This article describes how to enable BestShot and attributes detection using the WiseAI analytics application.  In this article, the PNM-C34404RQPZ fixed sensors are used as an example. The same process applies to any Hanwha Vision camera equipped with WiseAI and Attribute Extraction support.

Enabling BestShot and Attributes Detection

To enable best shot and attributes detection: 

1. Log into the camera via web browser (Chrome recommended).
   
   
2. Select the BestShot & Attributes menu. 
   
   
   
   
3. Select the sensor and toggle to ON to enable Bestshot/DetectionShot.
   
   
4. Select the desired object types for BestShot (person, face, vehicle, license plate).
   
   
5. Repeat this action for all applicable sensors.
   
   BestShot captures are displayed on the panel on the right hand side of the webpage.
   
   
6. Select the Attributes tab and repeat the above steps for applicable sensors.
