Issue Summary

The camera allows browser access but the sensor does not provide video feed, indicating that the camera sensor may be damaged. This article explains how to check the status of the camera sensor head.

Resolution

To check the status of the camera sensor head:

1. Open a web browser in incognito mode to avoid caching issues.
    
2. Enter the IP address of the camera into the URL bar of the browser and press Enter.
    
3. Enter the known credentials of the camera, then click OK.
    
4. Click the Gear icon at the top of the camera screen.
    
5. Select System > Upgrade / Restart.
    

6. Click Info.
   
   
    

   If the ISP field shows all zeros in an incognito browser session, the sensor is likely damaged.
   
   The following image shows the ISP of a functioning sensor head. If your sensor is offline
   this field will display all zeros.
