Summary
This article provides instructions for installing Wavelynx Ethos readers on either mullion or single-gang mounting surfaces.
Mounting the Reader
To mount the NOD-AX Series Reader:
- Position the metal wall plate over the mullion or single-gang electrical box.
- Secure the wall plate using the provided #6 screws.
- Connect the reader’s terminal block or wiring harness to the control panel, following the Specifications Table at the end of this article.
- Align the reader with the installed wall plate.
- Slide the reader into position, ensuring proper alignment and engagement with the backplate.
- Secure the bottom of the reader using either a #4-40 Phillips screw or the included Pin-in-Torx screw (depending on your desired tamper resistance level).

NOTE: Wires marked with an asterisk (*) may be optional or only required
in specific configurations.
