Summary
Hanwha Vision is evolving its cloud strategy to provide greater flexibility and platform choice. Wisenet SKY is a cloud video management system provided in collaboration with Eagle Eye Networks. As part of this evolution, Wisenet SKY is entering End-of-Life (EOL). Effective August 3, 2026, Wisenet SKY products will be removed from Hanwha Vision’s price list for new sales, quotes and activations.
Existing customers may consider the following options:
- Continue using their existing Wisenet SKY service through Eagle Eye Networks.
- Transition to Hanwha Vision BLAZE Hybrid AI VMS.
- Transition to Hanwha Vision OnCloud VMS.
Option 1: Continue using Wisenet SKY through Eagle Eye Networks
Existing Wisenet SKY customers may continue using their current service without interruption through Eagle Eye Networks. Customers who choose this option will maintain access to their existing system and accounts, subject to Eagle Eye Networks' terms and service agreements.
Customers who select this option may continue to access their existing account through the Eagle Eye Networks portal at https://login.een.com using their current credentials.
To support a seamless transition, Hanwha Vision will provide a 30-day transition period from August 3 through September 3, 2026. During this period, resellers may execute or transfer their reseller agreement to Eagle Eye Networks to continue supporting customers who elect to remain on the Eagle Eye Networks platform. Existing customer services will remain available throughout this transition period.
Customers who choose this option can expect:
- Continued access to their existing service through Eagle Eye Networks.
- No changes to the current subscription billing structure or renewal process.
- Continued billing through the payment method currently on file.
- A user experience that is expected to remain substantially the same, with only branding and visual appearance differences.
- Future product and technical support will be provided by Eagle Eye Networks at support@een.com.
- Direct access to Eagle Eye Networks for billing and account-related inquiries.
- Billing-related questions should be directed to billing@een.com.
Option 2: Transition to Hanwha Vision’s BLAZE Hybrid AI VMS
Existing Wisenet SKY customers may choose to transition to Hanwha Vision’s BLAZE Hybrid AI VMS. Transitioning to BLAZE Hybrid AI VMS allows customers to keep their video locally and use the cloud to view and manage their system.
The BLAZE Hybrid AI VMS requires customers to swap out their SKY Bridge or CMVR with a BLAZE recording appliance, available as 16- and 32-channel units with or without PoE, and larger 64-channel units.
BLAZE appliances support all client types (Windows and macOS desktop client applications, Android and iOS mobile apps, and a web interface) and come pre-licensed. There are no recurring subscription fees. Existing Wisenet SKY customers who wish to transition to Hanwha Vision’s BLAZE AI VMS can learn more about BLAZE VMS at the BLAZE homepage.
Option 3: Transition to Hanwha Vision’s OnCloud VMS
Existing Wisenet SKY customers may choose to transition to Hanwha Vision’s OnCloud VMS. Customers can choose to transition to this cloud-first VMS as either a pure cloud storage solution, or with on-premises edge storage to conserve bandwidth.
Hanwha Vision’s OnCloud VMS allows customers to keep their higher quality recordings on-premises and backups in the cloud. It also permits customers to swap the Wisenet SKY Bridge or CMVR with a 16- or 32-channel Hanwha Vision Cloud Gateway Recorder. This VMS is compatible with both Hanwha Vision devices and ONVIF-S compliant third-party models.
The OnCloud VMS also allows customers to skip the rack-mounted infrastructure and use the on-camera SD card on over 100+ Hanwha Vision models. Customers can record video directly in the cloud for up to a year (12 months), or use the SD card for edge storage and the cloud for backup. The edge storage will act as a buffer in case of any internet interruption.
Being a cloud service, OnCloud is browser-based and has a fully-featured Android and iOS mobile app. It is available as a multi-year subscription. Existing Wisenet SKY customers who wish to transition to Hanwha Vision’s OnCloud VMS can learn more about OnCloud at the OnCloud homepage.
Wisenet SKY Mobile Application EOL
The Wisenet SKY mobile applications for iOS and Android will enter EOL on September 3, 2026. Effective on that date, the applications will be removed from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store and will no longer receive support, maintenance updates, security updates, or feature enhancements from Hanwha Vision.
Customers who already have the applications installed may continue to use them; however, continued functionality cannot be guaranteed indefinitely. Customers continuing their service through Eagle Eye Networks are encouraged to transition to the Eagle Eye Networks mobile application and may continue to use their existing account credentials.
