Summary

This article describes the process to reset the SPC-7000 to factory default. 

 Setting the Factory Default

To set the factory default: 

1. Download the following files listed to a folder on your computer. 
   BIST.zip.001
   BIST.zip.002
   BIST.zip.003
2. Download this free program 7-zip from this link and install:
   https://www.7-zip.org/download.html
3. Highlight all three files and extract using the 7-zip program. 
4. Create a folder titled BIST and placed the extracted contents in that folder
5. Copy the attached file to a USB memory stick.
   
   
6. Insert the USB stick into SPC-7000.
7. Turn on SPC-7000.

8. Check the “BIST FOR SPC7000” message in the LCD screen.

   IMPORTANT: The next steps require a second computer.

9. Set the PC IP address to 192.168.1.XXX (using the camera's actual IP address).
10. Execute the command in the PC web browser.
11. Check OK message in PC web browser.
12. Reboot SPC-7000.
    This command initializes all configuration values such as registered devices, users and password.
