[Bug Report] SEC Backup Viewer Playback Issue

Background & Issue

• SEC files exported from an NVR do not play properly on Windows 11 PCs.
• The same SEC files play normally on Windows 7 PCs without issues.

Cause

• The issue occurs when using SEC Backup Viewer on PCs with:
  • Integrated graphics on certain Intel CPU generations
  • Latest graphics drivers installed
• This affects both x86 NVR and Novatek NVR models.

Solution

• A temporary workaround is available using the attached SecBackupViewer file:
  1️⃣ Extract the provided SecBackupViewer.exe file.
  2️⃣ Place it in the same folder as the exported .sec or .seclist files.
  3️⃣ Rename it to match the name of the SEC files and execute it.
• A permanent fix will be included in the NVR firmware update scheduled for release in May 2025.
