XNP-9250R/8250R Camera Leaks When Reversed Installation

1. Case

- Installation for monitoring the exterior of the office building with PTZ cameras
- Camera reverse installation at the end user's separate request

2. Symptom
- Due to the lack of power applied to the camera, the disassembly results show signs of leakage in the camera body

3. Cause
- PAN rotating bearing due to reverse installation which is difficult to guarantee water resistance
Water is not discharged from the area and there is stagnation
- The waterproof and dustproof rating of the XNP-9250R product is IP66 (spray, rain)
- Water retention is IP67 grade (inundated) and cannot be guaranteed by IP66

- The forward standard is that the logo printed on the product should look forward as shown in the picture below (in manual)
