In an effort to maintain standards, Hanwha uses the web UI for all knowledge base
articles pertaining to product configuration. Open Chrome, enter the IP Address
of your device into the URL bar, and click Enter. If you are not using the web UI
to configure your device, please refer to the user manual for your product. Issue Summary
You experience network-related issues while configuring or maintaining IP cameras. This article provides instructions for troubleshooting and resolving these networking issues.
Resolution
To resolve networking issues:
Enter the IP address of your camera in the URL bar of a web browser, then press Enter.
NOTE: All current Hanwha IP cameras are shipped with a default IP of 192.168.1.100 but are set to DHCP mode, meaning they will acquire an IP address from a DHCP-enabled network.If you are not using the web UI, refer to your product's user manual for alternative configuration options.
- Log in to the camera's web interface.
- Navigate to Settings > Basic > IP & Port
- Select Manual from the IP Type from the drop-down menu.
- Click Apply.
