Issue Summary
Cameras installed in a closed room can sometimes have issues with the bottom center part of its screen appearing black. A strong light from from the emergency lights on the side of the camera can cause abnormal brightness output in the center of the camera.
SSDR is the uniform screen output in an environment where there is a significant difference in brightness between a dark area and a bright area. It can be enabled to help resolve this issue.
Resolution
To adjust the brightness by applying indoor backlight mode and SSDR to the camera:
- Set to display a video where both indoor and outdoor are identifiable in indoor backlighting conditions.
- In the camera setup, select Image preset mode > Indoor backlight mode.
- To adjust the SSDR, in the camera setup, select SSDR > Enable.
