In an effort to maintain standards, Hanwha uses the web UI for all knowledge base 
articles pertaining to product configuration. Open Chrome, enter the IP Address 
of your device into the URL bar, and click Enter. If you are not using the web UI 
to configure your device, please refer to the user manual for your product.

Summary

This article describes how to add an RTSP stream from a Wisenet camera to an NVR.

NOTE: This only gives you access to the video stream, no other options in the camera.

Adding an RTSP Stream

To add an RTSP stream:

1. Log in to the NVR through Chrome.
    
2. Go to Setup > Channel Setup > Manual.
   
   
    
3. Next to Protocol, select RTSP.
    

4. Enter the RTSP URL provided by your manufacturer in the Access Address field. 

   NOTE: For the purposes of demonstration we are using Hanwha RTSP URLs. If 
   you use a third-party camera, you must refer to that company for their RTSP 
   URL format. See the following article for the proper Hanwha URL format:

5. Enter the credentials for the camera in question.

   NOTE: Even if your RTSP URL includes the credentials, enter them into the 
   ID and Password fields.

   
   
    

6. Click OK. 
   
   Your camera has been added to the RTSP protocol.
   
   

   NOTE: In non-vms-based NVRs, you can only enter one stream URL, and the 
   recording must be set to continuous. There is no Motion Based Recording on 
   this series of NVR.
