Preparing a Camera
Preparing a Hanwha camera can be done via Wisenet Device Manager in bulk or via the camera UI for individual cameras.
To prepare via Wisenet Device Manager:
- In Wisenet Device Manager, scan the local network to find cameras.
- Click Credential and set a password for the cameras.
- Select Login / Change Password.
- Enter the password twice and click Apply.
The Result column shows Success when done.
- Select IP Assign > Assign the following IP address.
- Set IP information as needed.
- Click Simulate > Apply.
NOTE: If you are using DHCP, ensure it is with reservation, as cameras
changing IP addresses can cause issues in most VMS platforms.
- With the cameras still selected, click on Date & Time.
- Select the Time Zone, checking DST, if needed.
- Select Synchronize with NTP Server.
- Enter at least one NPT address that the cameras can access.
- Click Start to push the settings.

Hi,
Not sure if this information is placed somewhere else, but publishing a quarterly or half yearly update of all camera integration to 3rd party software will be very helpful and will for sure activate needed interactions within this platform. The responsibility to ensure the client is happy lies with both hardware & software providers. So, please provide easily accessible information of all firmware / software integration requirements for all available Hanwha cameras and devices.
